Rebranding myself as ‘Loftomattic’ for the Art Grads NOW.21, I used the questionable exhibiting opportunity to advertise my dad’s automated-loftladder. The sculpture incorporates the exhibiting structure that is used to show the product at expos. I attached an Arduino through which I programmed an LED countdown timer to indicate when the next cycle of opening and closing would happen. The cycle of the ladder was also controlled by the Arduino. Accompanying poster specifying that this is not an artwork.
